HUNTED ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Photos: When you play HUNTED, you capture photos for scavenger hunt challenges. These photos are sent to our AI judging system for scoring. Photos are processed temporarily and are not permanently stored on our servers.

Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and username to provide features like leaderboards, friend lists, streaks, and hunt history.

Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics to improve our app, such as game modes played, scores, and feature engagement.

Push Notification Tokens: If you enable notifications, we store your device push token to send challenge invites, match updates, and streak reminders.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Judge your scavenger hunt photo submissions using AI
• Maintain leaderboards, streaks, badges, and game history
• Enable friend connections and 1v1 challenges
• Send push notifications for challenges, matches, and reminders
• Improve our services and develop new features

Data Storage and Security

Photos are processed temporarily by our AI judging system and are not permanently stored. Your account information is securely stored and encrypted using Supabase. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Anthropic (Claude): To power AI photo judging and generate verdicts. Photos are sent for analysis and are not retained by Anthropic.
• Supabase: For secure database storage, authentication, and real-time features.
• RevenueCat: To process in-app subscriptions.
• Apple/Google: For payment processing and push notifications.

These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of data.

In-App Purchases

HUNTED offers an optional Pro subscription for enhanced features. Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment information.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do NOT sell your personal data to advertisers
• We do NOT permanently store your photos
• We do NOT share your data with data brokers
• We do NOT track your location (location is used only for live capture verification and is not stored)

Children's Privacy

HUNTED is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your Rights

You may:

• Delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile settings
• Request information about data we have collected
• Opt out of push notifications at any time
• Request data export or deletion by contacting us

Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data including scores, badges, friend connections, and history are permanently deleted within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date.
